Has this runtime issue been solved: The new i2s driver can't work along with the legacy i2s driver ?

Hello guys,
Has anybody solved the runtime i2s compatibility issue within the av_stream_hal.h and av_stream_hal_audio.c ADF files ?
As ESP IDF team has been unable to update these files for the time being to the new i2s drivers(i2s_std.h, i2s_pdm.h, i2s_tdm.h) i am hoping somebody in this community took the time to do it. If somebody did, please share the solution.
