Using ESP32 as WiFi and Bluetooth Module with Rock64

Postby shripal17 » Fri Mar 01, 2019 7:24 am

Hello,

I wish to use the ESP32 as only a WiFi and Bluetooth Module for the Rock64 Board using the GPIO Interface(s) (SPI, I2C, UART)

The Rock64 Board does not have on-board WiFi/Bluetooth

Hence I would like to make my Rock64 board WiFi and Bluetooth Module enabled using the ESP32

Any Links or References would be helpful

I want to integrate ESP32 in the Android OS for Rock64. I am ready to pay experts who can do the job or help me

Sorry for asking this noob question as I have just purchased the ESP32 for the first time from a local shop.

Hello Shripal,
the easiest way would be to control the ESP32 with AT commands, you can start from reading this doc https://www.espressif.com/sites/default ... les_en.pdf
Hope this helps.

Hello Franco,

Thank you for your response.

AT Commands will only be for connecting/listing WiFi Stations, etc. right?

How will the data transfer e.g. Loading a website/downloading a file will take place?
