Can esp32 connect the Chinese name WiFi in sta mode?

When my device is in sta mode, I try to connect a Ap device with Chinese name. No connection is successful.

Can you connect to an access point which has an SSID with characters in the range of 32 to 127?
Are there zero byte values in the SSID of the access point?
