Hi everyone, this is my first post in this forum. I have a problem with my ESP32-WROVER Kit bought in Electrodragon.com . The first time I played with it, I plugged into a USB and there was a demo code (a demo for RGB led and LCD display), so that's was fine. Then I instaled platformio whit the SDK IDF so I decided to write a simple Hello world demo using Arduino Libraries. The compulation was fine and platformio write the code. Unfortunately never it worked. I unpluged my development board from USB and I plugged in once. The D4 LED and RGB led blink on four times in color red, and my Windows 10 showme this mesage Device unknown usb "Error 43 device descriptor request failed" in Device Manager.
I searched in goolge similar discussions and.... nothing, also I tried entering to boot mode but it doesn't fix it. Can you help me please. Regards

Please check that the jumper JP7 is correctly set to power the WROVER-KIT from USB port. See here: https://esp-idf.readthedocs.io/en/lates ... up-options
It sounds like the USB worked initially, if you managed to flash it with Platform.IO. Perhaps there was an intermittent soldering problem on the board from manufacturing that didn't show up originally, or maybe it's been damaged by a short circuit or accidental static discharge.
This means that communications between the USB/serial chip on the board and the PC is failing. If you've ruled out all of: a bad USB cable, a problem with the PC itself, and the power jumper JP7 missing or set differently, then it's probably faulty hardware.HRN88 Gosta wrote:Device unknown usb "Error 43 device descriptor request failed" in Device Manager.
