Fast ADC data transferto an ESP32

Hi All

My project requires that I digitise a 1MHz signal for 300 µs (ie 600 8 bit samples collected over a 300 µs period) for further processing. My hope is that I can link an external ADC (preferable using SPI but possibly 8 bit parallel ) to an ESP32. Never having used this device before I should be grateful if anyone would advise me on whether this volume of data (0.6Kb/4.8Kbits) can transferred to an ESP32 at or near this rate.
