ESP-WROVER-KIT pin mapping/ reset

I just received an ESP-WROVER kit
I'm looking at the documentation of http://esp-idf.readthedocs.io/en/latest ... r-kit.html and I'm confused by this statement:

My board is not labelled with any of V1, V2 or V3 and came with no printed information whatsoever. Looking at the photos, it appears to be V3.

On my board, pins 27 and 28 of the ESP-WROVER module are definitely connected to breakout pins IO17 and IO16. Are GPIO16 and GPIO17 different from IO16 and IO17?Note
GPIO16 and GPIO17 are used as the CS and clock signal for PSRAM. To ensure reliable performance, the two GPIOs are not broken out.
I'm also confused by this:
As I have downloaded my firmware and I'm watching it's console output: this button is not resetting the system.EN
Reset button: pressing this button resets the system.
