esp32 c3 stop recognized by PC

Postby audris » Sat Nov 23, 2024 3:10 pm

Hi, I have a problem with my ESP32-C3-MINI-1 custom hardware. It suddenly stopped being recognized by my PC. It worked for a while, but then something happened. The ESP chip still works because it was programmed to with simple test code to blink an LED.

When I tried the lsusb command in the terminal, it doesn't show up.
I have tried the following:
  • Changing the USB-C cable
  • Holding down the BOOT button and then pressing EN
  • Trying a different PC
None of these worked for me.
I am using a PC with Ubuntu 22.04 and Arduino IDE. I followed this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6njN9Y7PF0&t=528s.
