MQTT event issue

Postby Ssg ssg » Thu Oct 03, 2024 11:37 pm

Hello Fellows, I searching for someone expert in mqtt for help-me.
I'm using basically the mqtt/ssl example from espressif github and I cannot publish nothing!
The secure tcp link as well wifi initialization with my certification is ok (if I change any character in certificate I get initialization error...)
When the mqtt is started and connected I get "hello" from the example message then I set one flag to start my publish just after when connected with broker and I send the same message but I get error "E (9500) mqtt_client: Client was not initialized" and the data does not go ahead...
Below my code as well the error message after my publish.
Whats is wrong? I could not get any information about that for esp-idf V5.3 version...

Try to pass client by reference

Code: Select all

static void send_binary(esp_mqtt_client_handle_t &client)
or even better make this handle global and use it

Code: Select all

static esp_mqtt_client_handle_t client; <--- make this global
...
client = esp_mqtt_client_init(&mqtt_cfg);
...

Hi Chegevara,
Doing handle global it works, great!
Thanks
