Matter protocol certification and more questions

Hi Espressif,

Huge thanks for the Matter webinairs (https://www.espressif.com/sites/default ... cation.pdf)

For a test I want to use multiple (ESP32) Matter devices, all in a development/test environment. These products do eventually go to a customer, but will always run under our control, the user won't and does not need to control the devices in any way. We want to use the Matter protocol now for testing, so in the future we could integrate 3rd party devices to this system easily.

However looking at the extensive certification process I am wondering some things:
1- Is it possible to use Matter without a certification (in like an 'untrusted' mode or something), or a development/local certification?
2- If I can't get an official Matter certificate right now, how can I start testing? Not just 1 or 2 devices, but at least a network of like 10 devices?
3- Can I setup a device-to-device connection automatically, WITHOUT the use of an external device/app? If I have a setup with over 10+ device to device this would be an extensive setup, wouldn't it?
4- Do I need to have a Thread Border Router while commissioning an ESP32 Thread device using an app on my phone? Or can I fully commission the device with BLE only. Because I get an error that I don't have an active WiFi connection, which I do have.

Hoping someone can help me out here. Thanks for any help.
