Hi folks. I am trying to build a GitHub project which communicates with a CAN bus using the Devkit V1 and a SN65HVD230 transceiver board.
When sending data to the GPIO pin 5 for example, no data is seen on a scope at this pin, I tried and checked other pins, same behaviour. Some sit at 3.3v all the time, some sit at zero volts all the time.
Questions are, does the Devkit V1 have a CAN controller built in, does it use the CAN library for Arduino / ESP32 if so, or does it need some kind of TWAI library?
I can't get this to work. The GitHub project is PSAWIFI by Morcibacsi. Seems to be the ESP32 is not acting as his one did. Leads me to wonder about pins, libraries and CAN controllers or the means to send CAN data to a DIO pin.
Any help much appreciated.
