i'm talking about the ESP32-WROVER-I module,
does it come with the MIFA PCB trace? like this
also how to purchase a compatible U.FL connector?
is the MIFA PCB trace bendable? to 90 degrees (vertically)
Re: is the MIFA PCB trace bendable? to 90 degrees (vertically)
No it is a rigid pcb. Ipex/u.fl should be standard. The part should be in bom of wrover module ref design.

thanks WiFive,WiFive wrote:No it is a rigid pcb. Ipex/u.fl should be standard. The part should be in bom of wrover module ref design.
I meant how to purchase a compatible antenna, so all antennas with a Ipex/u.fl connector should work?
is there a module without the pcb antenna and only with the connector?

thanks for the reply. :)WiFive wrote:No it is a rigid pcb. Ipex/u.fl should be standard. The part should be in bom of wrover module ref design.
do you think I can make it work?
break it or dremel it, and solder it vertically, do you think it will work?
this works out perfectly in my project's design and makes big cost savings,
no need to purchase and assembly an antenna other than making it fit in the design..
