Looking for the right MCU

Good evening folks!
Currently i am working on a DIY-project. The goal is a clock, which can be controlled via wifi. For example setting a timer.
But the thing is, that somehow every MCU that i have tested so far, seem not to fit into my project.
Important conditions the MCU needs to be fullfill, is the availability of micropython, a clock that also returns microseconds and enough RAM.
The MCUs i have bought sof far, are:
- ESP32-WROOM (Not enough RAM due to partitions & slightly to big dimensions)
- Raspi Pico W (Clock does not include microseconds which i desperatly need and sometimes not enough RAM)
- ESP32 ProS3 (Has enough RAM but unfortunately to slow)
So do you have some advises or ideas?
I am very desperate at the moment, because all the MCU purchases have seemed pointless.
Warm greetings
