ULP I2C Example

Does anyone have example code using the ULP I2C controller?

I have to say that I'm pretty interested in this as well. It seems like a lot of people are just writing their own bit-bang host code for the ULP, but it would be great to use the built in instructions for simplicity/cleanliness. I've been trying without luck and I suspect it's something simple that I'm missing that would be obvious if I saw a "hello world" project that used the hardware properly.
