Hi guys

do you can inform us in detail
what is mean with the second mark on the SoC

we know, the first is the week and year
and we thinked allways, the second mark is the batch of "die"

but today i saw in wrover kit in the wrover modul the same batch on a different time stamp
i got on SoC's last weeks - the same batch.

And i wounder me, the 112017 is then rev1 - usually - cause this is in the wrover kit
and the info is Revsion 1 with software also - DOOM runs on it.

best wishes

My guess would be that the timestamp is calculated and applied at the packager (who take the silicon and put it in the QFN packages), while the batch ID is determined at TSMC (who manufacture the silicon). Seems they took more than a day to package this particular batch :)
