Some news from our favorite kickstarter project:

ESP32 chip not available for volume production until 15th September

I assume this is pending good hw verification, no silicon bugs. It would be nice to have an official source for production updates. Is there a qq group or something where this type of information is posted?

So I don't think we can expect modules to start flooding the usual sources until October.

...We always knew we had a bit of risk in developing alongside Espressif’s own ESP32 development and honestly, they have done an amazing job keeping us posted and supporting us in parallel during their own development process (Thank you Teo and team!).

the shop does not speak at time the same language -
they speak from launch August.

..The delay is caused by the ESP32 chip not being available for volume production until 15th September. We will get the first batch of production grade chips in time to start the FCC/CE certification this month, but the volume chips will take a few more weeks to reach us.

and like i said - they do not have the FCC/CE
at start of campagne - but they posted FCC/CE pics on the module

if the preorder eats the next batch - so we are ready for 2017 for "a change" ..

Friends I am from Chile (South America ) and am eager to work with the new ESP32 , I have several projector waiting for the new module .
and so I read, ESP32 will be on sale on September 24
