ESP32 little help for a noob, please?

Hello.
Can anyone here help me to write a simple esp32 sketch?
I just want to display information from a serial sensor to the embeded tft display (eSPI). It's abouyt a ttgo t-display.
Please, help me. I see lots and lots of complicated projects here, but nothing about something as simple as this should be...
