hi guys
i do not understand, that we get not synchron libs to the esp-idf versions.
honest - i do not understand this.
i thinked :
you are "one" team, that develop in "inside groups" to different things and if a update is there
Is discussed among themselves. And each team then develops under the same versions.
but i think there are extern team(s) here too?
i must ask here again:
is this esp32 forum an own espressif developer forum or is this an extern developer forum which works in the emergency room for espressif system, that works for espressif.
why we read nothing more from John Lee, Costaud and other "old" espressif inside developer's?
why we must wait in AT Example for simply parameter Fixes in wifi / AT Lib Fix?
i am allways with "Cooking emotions" if i must wait for things in productive times -
and then the base is in LIBS hey - we are in opensource!
guys please! Something has to be changed at the end of the process!
please bring sync in it or open the things to source then we can help by self.
here are all again "Cooking emotions" because we must wait for fixes things in LIB
best wishes
rudi

Re: how many extern teams are working on LIBS
It does not lead away, I'm sorry.
We need the certainty to work smoothly productively the next few years.
Only so we can set ourselves on the ESP32 to use it in masses
If we fail to obtain certainty, whether for a long period of time to fix in Libs;
Or if, for the foreseeable future, we do not get access to the LIBS as an open source system and sources,
We are forced to adjust the productivity and thus the developing;
Unless we find another way with another HW manufacturer,
Which opens the sources open source.
Sorry guys, but I think there must be a decision now.
Either you open the LIBS - all - or we have to look for another product for mass production,
Which would be very bad and a pity about the last three years investment.
edit:
we wait now over 20 days for a fix in the LIB -
we wait now after knowed bug - over 12 days..
why you need so long time to fix this in the same house of developing?!
open the c file
edit it
compile it
archiv it
upload it
where is the problem!?

no reaction from espressif
edit: if this happening in the productive time
I would take the hw out of the program.

Closing this: I think Ivan answers this question in viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1445 and I think it's best to keep the discussion there.
