"ESP-NOW" protocol on Android and ios smartphones

Hi,

Can i run "ESP-NOW" protocol in a application on android and ios smartphones ?

I want to make the smartphone communicate with esp32 via "ESP-NOW", as if the smartphone were a remote control.

if not, what should I do ?

I don't want that the smartphone lose communication with the access point / internet.
I would like to use the smartphone as a remote control without that the smartphone lose internet communication, ie: not only communicate with esp32.

Thank's.

No. Join the esp32 to the WiFi network or use Bluetooth.

Does espressif have any plans to incorporate this component in esp-idf ?

If yes, which date ?

Thank's.
