Wipy is the older board based on cc3200.

Lopy is the new board based on esp32 + sx1272.

Where does it say anything about homekit? There is really no point in thinking about homekit until you get mfi approved by apple and ask them what hardware platforms are homekit certified.

i am honest, till now, i have not know about the possible about a ESP32 NDA for get more information.
if i had knowed this, i would had this ask espressif, for get more infos and details for can do more.
my only info are the docu in the protected area
and an email that here once was shipping to each.
shame that we will no longer be maintained at the current and must grapple with sparse info.
now i understand, why a hand full people (producer) here know more as we developer here can talk about.

We cannot reveal many more details because most of the info is still under NDA, but we have spent some quality time at the Espressif offices in Shanghai and they are committed to give us full support so ....

( as eMbedded developer) this i will see that you have ready and the most of your supporter

think you will need a "apple kit" developer for this - now.
