How to implement modem sleep?

Going through some documents and surfing around the internet, I still don't know how to implement modem sleep (i.e. keeping wifi connect with minimal power). The official document (https://docs.espressif.com/projects/esp ... ement.html) did not cover in detail.

"If WiFi connection needs to be maintained, enable WiFi modem sleep, and enable automatic light sleep feature (see Power Management APIs). This will allow the system to wake up from sleep automatically when required by WiFi driver, thereby maintaining the connection to the AP."

using wifi_set_sleep_type? but only deep sleep and light sleep are available in sleep_modes.c,

I could do deep sleep but power consumption in my case is even higher than always wakeup.

Please help
