Hello All,
I am interested in a project that I found based on a youtube video. I have NEVER dealt with any electronics like this or have done any programming and I am looking for someone to assist in my journey.
Here's the video i found.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIYmkKapoqM
Unforunately he doesn't have a wiring diagram and he doesn't answer my emails.
This is the github writeup. https://github.com/glytchtech/ESPCam
I then found this: https://eloquentarduino.com/projects/es ... -detection
I also found this: https://randomnerdtutorials.com/esp32-c ... assistant/
Based on what I've read I have ordered these items:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PK ... UTF8&psc=1
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WC ... UTF8&psc=1
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072K ... UTF8&psc=1
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07R2 ... UTF8&psc=1
I will get the items in two days. I have a large building, 250,000 square feet that I intend on using these around the outside perimeter for intruders. My goal is to have alerts and image sent when sensing motion. I would also like to have screen displaying the cameras live feed. This is where none of the above documents stop. They don't describe this sort of thing.
I could use some help with this as it would be assisting in ensuring my building stays safe.
Sincerely,
Thor

Let me first say about the video. Thats a crap design. He is running the battery to the 5V input. Max charge is 4.2v, Battery cutoff is 3.2v . Using a single cell Li-Po in this setup is a silly way to go. It won't run very long at all. You would either need a boost converter to kick the cell voltage up. or use 2 cells in series.

Hi username. Thanks for your input. I realized I also missed posting this:username wrote: ↑Tue May 31, 2022 4:32 amLet me first say about the video. Thats a crap design. I've planned to use two, maybe 3 cells, 4 if necessary.
I intend on using the solar method ultimately. I have almost an "infinite" quantity of 18650 batteries from other things I have laying around.
Otherwise, do you have a recommendation or guidance? An idea on how I can make my plan a reality?
Sincerely,
Thor
