ESP32 bulk programming/flashing

Hello all,

how can esp32 d0wdq6-v3 be flashed externally?

Elnec does not show anything for ESP32 search, and Xeltek seem to work with C3 only, maybe someone did try it with some production programmer?

There is nothing to flash on d0wdq6 except efuses. It does not have internal flash. Espressif does offer programming services. The companion flash chips can be pre programmed before mounting.

If you mean in circuit programming then you should ask sales@espressif.com if they offer a standalone programmer. Otherwise all the resources are on GitHub to create one.

Thanks! But datasheet says about • 448 KB ROM - isn`it flashable?

No. The content is put in at chip design time - no way to change it after the mask design is sent to the factory.
