Total noob! MacOS 11.x + Arduino IDE +DFROBOT ESP32 serial problem

Hi, anyone know anything about this - system report sees device on USB-serial port, however neither the Arduino IDE VS Code platformIO detect it. So, clearly the hardware and drivers are OK? Any help much appreciated
