Wanted to come to the forum to see posts about bluetooth, since that's my current development interest.
So, I searched for "BLE", and was greeted with "The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: ble. You must specify at least one word to search for. Each word must consist of at least 3 characters and must not contain more than 14 characters excluding wildcards." I tried "bluetooth"; same result.
As it is the search isn't very useful, and there are a lot of pages of posts to sift through.
Could the "too common" feature of the search be disabled?
Thanks.
Better way to search the forum?
Re: Better way to search the forum?
I'm usually using Google with site:esp32.com when I need to find something here. Even for not common words, it works much better than the forum search engine.

FWIW, I also have requested the common words filter to be turned off. Agree with iggr though: the phpbb search function in general is spotty at best, using an external search engine tends to give better results.

Okay, seems that works, looking for 'BLE' gives hits now. (Ironically, with this post being the top one.)
