Unexpected system time behaviour

Hi all, and thank you for your attention. i want to report here a strange behaviour of my ESP32 - wroom 32E module. While doing a project using ESP32 - wroom 32E , The system time was set using the function settimeoftheday the timezone is given as null . While i get back the time using 2 functions (Time & gettimeofday) the resultant time is 1073 seconds ahead of the present time . So can you tell me why Iam getting unexpected system time.

Thanks for valuable information.
This unexpected time behaviour is seen in a fresh board . So are we using any constants internally to solve this frequency issue.
