Knowing chip Mac ID

Hello,

I am planning to use the Device Mac ID to generate the security certificates to connect to my IOT server.
Since there is a plan of series production , we are planning to field test by creating 500 devices.
I would want to know if there is a any way to know the chip mac ID without powering it up.
Can i use the QR code printed on the chip? Or can I request the vendor to provide the respective Mac ID of the ESP32 chips while delivering the hardware?

If you want to pursue Espressif taking care of the MAC addresses burned into your chips, I'd suggest contacting sales@espressif.com. Do note that there's a minimum order quantity for that, but if you're lucky it's only one reel (650pcs iirc).
