ESP-WROOM-32 module - are these 2 versions equivalent?

I ordered a batch of ESP32 Development Boards (DOIT Devkit V1) through AliExpress. The advertisement on AliExpress included the photo on the left (in the attached image file), but the boards that were sent to me have a different ESP-WROOM-32 module label. The boards I received have a label like the one in the photo on the right. Can anyone tell me what the difference is, or are they equivalent? Have I been duped? Is one of these 'better' or a 'newer' revision of the module than the other?
