What Steps need to be taken for booting code in ESP32

Anyone can provide the steps for uploading the code / Flashing the code in ESP32.

Coming across boot failure.
Is the IC provided by ESPRESIF for custom PCB's is bootable or need to perform any specific process to make it bootable.
