About FreeRTOS and Project

Is FreeRTOS and Application developed in the same project? Can I separate building and flashing in my project? Looking forward to your answer, Thank you！

FreeRTOS is part of ESP-IDF; if you build your project you will also compile the FreeRTOS files.
