how to stop and resume receiving data from bluetooth(SPP profile)

hi all,
my requirement is to receive some of bluetooth data(let say 200 bytes) and stop receive then process the received data and then again receive 200 bytes then stop receiving, process the received data and so on till the end of data (let say 1000 bytes ). Is there any API's to control bluetooth incoming data like CTS & RTS pins in UART so that receiving bluetooth data can be controlled.
