Frequency input and output

Postby fargodude » Tue Jul 10, 2018 4:55 pm

Hi, I need assistance from a guru. I want to be able to read and generate a frequencies using an ESP32 dev board and Arduino IDE.
I don't know what the limits are but if I could read 6 pulse trains and write 50 duty cycle frequencies on 6 pins that would be perfect.

I would like to come up with a sketch that I can loop the signals to test it.

I would pay for any help.

Thanks,

What I'd suggest is that you write up as detailed a technical specification as possible. Ideally include descriptions of the overall project and the areas that you need assistance with in depth. Try and include diagrams as best you can. Your current description left me puzzled ... I couldn't tell if you needed 6 input signals AND 6 output signals simultaneously or 6 inputs or 6 outputs but only one set at a time. Your use of the word duty cycle makes me think that PWM might be involved. The phrase "generate frequencies" isn't a commonly used one (opinion). What I'd like to hear is the overall story. We also would want to see described the waveforms that are requested. Since we are talking digital signals, they will be square waves ... but what is the period and duty cycle granularity. For example, a 50Hz period is one story while a 5MHz period might be a different story.
