Hi.
Been looking for 2 weeks for the right ESP32, but can't seem to narrow it down. I do have an ESP on the way - it arrives in 15 days though - and not sure it would be the one to use.
I need a device that has: WiFi, Bluetooth, microSD card, and the ability to create a mesh network. (Think ESP-Now or with the nrf24L01+) From what I've seen, ESP32's don't have the microSD card reader/writer. But the Pi0 doesn't have mesh network.
Also, nice to haves: RTC.
Thank you.
Which device?
Re: Which device?
Are you looking for an ESP32 development board?
The ESP-WROVER-KIT board has all the hardware features you mention here. Mesh network capability will depend on what kind of mesh network you need, but ESP-NOW is currently supported.
There are some other third-party boards out there with MicroSD onboard. http://esp32.net/ mentions some of these.
