Does the ESP32-C3-MINI-1-N4-A have express link built in?

Postby Frosty » Mon Mar 04, 2024 5:07 pm

Hello all, I stumbled onto the AWS Iot ExpressLink solution and I’d love to build it into my product.

What I’m confused about is how the module is setup. If I go purchase a ESP32-C3-MINI-1-N4-A from digikey does it have express link built in? Or is there a smd module that ties into the MCU I’m missing?

I’d greatly appreciate more detail around this express solution.

Yes, it does. The modules with an -A suffix have firmware for expresslink flashed, and the fuses set to protect that firmware and the key material.

Oh wow! Perfect. Do you know if there’s an express link variant for s3 planned?
