So this may be a totally stupid and unachievable idea but here's my plan. I basically want to me a small wireless camera with a USB dongle as a reciever. The end goal is to use it as a fpv camera for twitch streams.
One really big problem is the existing WiFi where I'll be using this is unreliable at best so I'm trying to avoid using that.
My idea is this..
Use a esp32 board with a small camera of some sort (I was thinking a cheap drone fpv camera). Then use another esp32 as an access point that's connected by USB to my laptop.
Honestly my current experience with esp32 boards is flashing wled and playing with leds, so essentially no experience whatsoever... I had to Google the security question..
I wonder if esphome could be used to view the camera feed on my laptop then I can just use that as a source for obs? Or better still have it somehow be detected as a USB camera (seems unlikely).
Or if anyone had any totally different ideas please do share!
I know gopros can be used for this but they're a bit bulky to wear and outside of my budget for this potential project.
