In the "Espressif Products Ordering Information" document, under "Modules" is listed:
ESP32-WROVER-I / Sample / IPEX antenna...

Is there any other documentation for this module (schematics, package geometry, etc...)
What is the timeline for this module to be in production?

Yes there are a number of ESP32 modules that have U.FL / IPEX antenna connectors. You can buy the modules separately or the development board with all the components on a breakout. I recommend looking at this page:

Look at all the modules that have a U.FL connector and try to find the one you like the look of.
