Ethernet to WiFi forwarding

I'm planning on building an ethernet to WiFi converter. Is it doable on the ESP32?

My guess is that it should be transparent and forward all network frames (transport layer?) to existent-and-already-stable IP stack implemented at current ETH hardware.

Is ESP32 suitable for this?

Any thought appreciated.
