I'm new to ESP32, I flashed the ESP32 C3 with Arduino successfully by holding IO9 to low and IO8 to high. After flashing again following the same sequence of button press but ESP32 C3 is no more communicating with Arduino. Got following error,
esptool.py v4.6
Serial port COM3
Connecting......................................
A fatal error occurred: Failed to connect to ESP32-C3: No serial data received.

Re: ESP32 C3 not communicating after first successful flash
You need to be a bit more specific, e.g. what hardware are you using here?

Re: ESP32 C3 not communicating after first successful flash
Hi,
I'm using ESP32C3WROOM02. I have build a prototype board with this IC and using FTDI USB to TTL convertor to flash the IC using Arduino.
In Arduino I have selected ESP32 development module and flash an example program for wifi scanning.
Thanks.

Re: ESP32 C3 not communicating after first successful flash
Have you hooked up the EN pin and any needed bootstrap pins as well? Are you powering the module with a good enough power supply (i.e. not the 3.3V-rail generated by the ft232)?
