Hello!

my goal is to turn on a led if I have a incoming call on a phone. I was thinking that the samartest way would be to simulate a bluetooth headset, and detect the incoming call notification. the call does not need to be answered, its just so my wife can send me a signal when i am at the range with headsets.

I was not able to find anything that explains how to simulate a headset and get the notification of a incoming call..

Is this possible? could anybody point me in the right direction please?

Thank you!

For iOS, one way is to use ANCS on the ESP32.
The purpose of the Apple Notification Center Service (ANCS) is to give Bluetooth accessories (that connect to iOS devices through a Bluetooth low-energy link) a simple and convenient way to access many kinds of notifications that are generated on iOS devices.

Android may have something similar.

lol
I did a project using ANCS I had forgotten all about.
Not clear if I used an ESP32.
