RainMaker - No bluetooth device found given prefix - Mac IOS!

I am trying to get the ESP RAINMAKER switch example up and running on a ESP32-Wrooom-DA Module. I am using the Arduino IDE with the example code already present. The code compiles and uploads and works fine using an Adnroid phone. How ever using the ESP Rainmaker App on an apple I-Phone 11 does not find the device! After scanning the QR code the ERROR comes up: No bluetooth device found with given prefix. I know other people had the same issue and I need to get the device working urgently. Any help would be appreciated.
