ESP32 CAM

Postby gegedme » Mon Feb 21, 2022 5:31 pm

Hello,

for several days I have been trying to program an ESP32 CAM.
impossible, I tried several ESP32 Board Manager URL:
- https://dl.espressif.com/dl/package_esp32_index.json
- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/espre ... index.json
impossible to create a simple web camera.
I try to work with the "webcameraserver" in example on arduino version 1.8.19 but without success.
I have always an error message with the camera.
i use the type of board : AI_THINKER ESP 32 CAM

Code: Select all

#include "esp_camera.h"
#include <WiFi.h>

//
// WARNING!!! Make sure that you have either selected ESP32 Wrover Module,
// or another board which has PSRAM enabled
//

// Select camera model
//#define CAMERA_MODEL_WROVER_KIT
//#define CAMERA_MODEL_ESP_EYE
//#define CAMERA_MODEL_M5STACK_PSRAM
//#define CAMERA_MODEL_M5STACK_WIDE
#define CAMERA_MODEL_AI_THINKER

Re: ESP32 CAM

Good morning all,

I finally found.
it was a power supply problem.
I upload the program using an arduino NANO.
PC USB port power was not strong enough to run the whole thing.
plugging my ESP32CAM into a 5V mains supply, it works.

I'm glad I solved my problem on my own.
if it can help other people
