SPIFFS file text editor to run in browser window

Hi all
I'm looking for code to use to edit a file on the SPIFFS storage from within a browser window. Doesn't need to be anything fancy just loading from and saving to SPIFFS and inserting and deleting ascii text. Other functionality such as cut and paste would be a bonus but not essential.

I'm sure this must have been done before but google insists on returning HTML composition editors however I frame the search.

Any pointers appreciated.
