BLE TX POWER LEVEL ADJUST

No matter what I do, I have been through every discussion on this forum, I can not increase the TX power level on my ESP32-Wroom 32D.
I do not need to connect, just transmit advertising data, but the maximum distance I get is about 4m!
Can someone please provide more information and maybe a working example?

Why do you think the issue is your Tx level? What hardware are you running on? Are you sure you're not shielding the antenna or something?

Because no matter what TX power level setting I enter, the power level stays the same as the default.
Definitely not shielded.
Using the ESP32-WROOM-32D and NRF BLE App to check the reception.

Can you give a bit more info on the "power level" you referring to? Is this the baud rate? I don't have enough info but I believe the voltage is more the issue here. Assuming you using the ESP32 directly you have 3.3V - The max distance on 5V is 5m with a high quality cable (using USB as reference), so 4m sounds correct with 3.3V. I am no pro on this but this is just my first thoughts. Maybe something like a Logic Level Converter may help?

@hhelmbold: BLE is Bluetooth Low Energy, so no cables involved.
