ESP32 2-way communication local Wifi network

Hi,

At our plant we have local wifi available.
Investigating on development for simplified AGV (automated guided vehicles)
Is it possible to connect the ESP32 in multiple AGV's via wifi with the local network and have another ESP32 also on the wifi to act as master-controller?

Or do you propose other communication ways (ESP-now, Lora,...)? Just worried about reach inside a production plant.
