Bad boot message characters after reset

Postby unknow005 » Wed Dec 19, 2018 6:24 am

Dear community,

please can someone help me with my project based on ESP-WROOM-32? After the reset (via reset button) I get boot message from ESP cached by serial monitor (I am using ftdi USB converter) but most of characters are bad like this example:

ets ⸮⸮⸮⸮⸮⸮⸮⸮⸮Ғ2:57

rst:0x1 (POWERON_RESET),boot:0⸮3 (SPI_FAST_FLASH_BOOT)
configsip: 0, SPIWP:0xee
ck⸮E⸮⸮⸮0x00,q_drv:0x00,d_drv:0x00,cs0_drv:0x00,hd_drv:⸮⸮0,wp_drv:0x00
mode:DIO, clock div:1

WIFI AP: RP_test 192.168.1.1:25555

Last line is allways correct because it is not boot message but command in Setup code section after line "Serial.begin(115200);". Serial monitor is set to 115200. My USB converter baud rate is 115200. Looks like baud rate of ESP32 before processing the Setup code section is different than 115200. But some words are correct! It is weird. I tryed to put 100nF capacitor between EN and GND (to prevent signal waving when pressing button). Nothing helped.

Iam uploading code with this setting:
Board: FireBeetle-ESP32, Freq.: 80MHz, Upload speed: 921600 (tryed 115200 too without success)

What is the ESP32 baud rate after reset before code will change it to 115200 (in Setup section code)? Sometimes some resets (1 from 50) looks correct, but next reset is with bad characters again. Any idea why it happens?

Thank you.
