ESP32 Devkit v1, Failed uploading: uploading error: exit status 2

Postby Anthem » Wed Apr 03, 2024 1:25 pm

Hi, ive just recently gotten into esp32 for a school project. The project i planned on making is a bluetooth controller. During my first code upload it worked, since it was kind of late i decided to sleep and continue the next day. The next day I decided to reupload the code as it was a habit of mine when i do projects like these. As i uploaded like normal for some reason it had an error which was "Failed uploading: uploading error: exit status 2". I was confused and did many diff solution form the web (change cable, hold the boot button, hold both the boot and en button, make sure the port, switch computers, reinstall arduino IDE) and still the same.

Here is the full error code

pretty much this is what it says all the time

so im interessted if this is the board being broken or there might be something else, because the light on the board is still on when i plug it in and the computer and arduino recognizes theres something connected to the computer
