Sparkfun Thing Plus using collin80 CAN library not working.

This is the exact same esp32 which library was written for but will not even make it to Serial.print in setup.

If i comment out any CAN related code then there is no issue. Code compiles and uploads but will not even execute set up statements?

Broken by new core.code?

Hiw can i see what is breaking of i can not even getting to set up print statement?

Does esp32 have a crash log?

Other ideas?
