AP opens when connection fails

Hi,

We have a customer who says his ESP-WROOM-32 is opening up an unrequested access point when connection is lost between the board and a router. He says the access point is insecure and he can then access data on the module. The access point seems to be called "ESP-3BAFAD", have you got any suggestions as to why this is happening?

The firmware for the board contains no requests to open an access point.
