Esp32-s2

Postby hetthummar » Fri Dec 03, 2021 5:05 pm

I just bought a new esp 32-s2 from this site and
https://www.electronicscomp.com/ai-thin ... ment-board
I am trying to upload the basic blink sketch and I am getting the following error.

A fatal error occurred: This chip is ESP32, not ESP32-S2. Wrong --chip argument?

Can Anyone Help me resolve this issue?
Thanks

I tells you it's an ESP32 chip because it is. Look at the product description again, it never mentions the S2 anywhere. In contrast, it does mention the ESP32 and two cores (where the S2 only has one): 'The core of this module is the ESP32 chip, which is scalable and adaptive. Two CPU cores can be individually controlled.'
