Hi, I am trying to build the firmware and unable to get through the building of crosstool-ng prior to building the firmware.
Most likely me, as a 30 year firmware guy, love the downloadable firmware, dying to jump in!! .
Trying to build the most vanilla versions to start. I appreciate the community guidance.
Thanks Bradshaw in Buzzards Bay MA 3 stones throws from the Army Corps of Engineers RailRoad Bridge over the Canal.

Sure, thanks, here is the link to my full sick log.

Hey, a totally different way to solve MY problem.
I would happily send a paypal equivalent of a dunkin donuts coffee and sandwich to the first person who sends me
a TGZ of /opt/Espressif that works with my Ubuntu 64 bit 15.04 . I love to work for food, and will
very gladly, appreciatively, reciprocate.
Its a fun! funny! working paradigm for 2016. Bradshaw

Just checking: did you do this step?
sudo apt-get install git autoconf build-essential gperf bison flex texinfo libtool libncurses5-dev wget gawk libc6-dev python-serial libexpat-dev libtool-bin
If you did (or if that didn't work), could you try
apt-get install g++
and then re-try?
