EFUSE read/write BLK3 from user application

My program generates a unique ID using rnd and timestamp when it is first turned on. I want to save it in Efuse BLOCK3-Variable Block 3. I'm afraid of experiments with EFUSE and so I want to ask how to do it.
1. How can I write EFUSE BLK3 from a user application?
2. how do I read this value from the user application?

Is it possible to flash eFUSE from a custom application?
